I know you already have a DAW- as do I- so the inclusion of a free DAW probably wouldn't be a deciding factor for either of us, but it might be for someone else. Buy Akai Fire Controller FL Studio in Petaling Jaya,Malaysia. But I might lean toward the Acorn if price were irrelevant, because the Acorn comes with Studio One Artist and has 4 programmable knobs. Going strictly by what the ads say, I might lean toward the Alesis if price were the most important factor, because it's $10 cheaper than the Acorn in the ads I'm looking at. (The keyboard has dials for PITCH and Modulation. I'm trying to find the perfect controller type setting, so that all features work. When setting it up, it is not listed under controller type. I don't have any experience with either of those brands or models, so I can't comment on the feel of the key response and so forth. I have an Alesis Q49 keyboard and am trying to get it to work properly with the Trial of FL Studio 20 that I just downloaded.
